Modify a SRDF/Metro Smart DR environment

SRDF/Metro Smart DR is a two-region high available (HA) disaster recovery (DR) solution. It integrates SRDF/Metro and SRDF/A enabling HA DR for a Metro session.

Prerequisites

The storage system must be running PowerMaxOS 5978 Q3 2020 or later.

About this task

The modify operation allows the addition or removal of devices from an existing MetroDR environment.

To modify a storage group in a smart DR environment:

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Click PROTECTION to view the PROTECTION dashboard and select SRDF/MetroDR from the High Availability section of the summary panel. Alternatively, select DATA PROTECTION > MetroDR.
  3. Select a smart DR environment and click Modify.
    The Modify window is displayed.
